Based in Los Angeles with online access worldwide, HBA trains teachers who lead with care, skill, and integrity. At Holistic Breath Academy you will encounter Holistic Breathwork™ in its intended spirit and then continue with a Holistic approach throughout your study and teaching.
Our Story
Holistic Breath Academy was created to make breath education feel real and human. Not perfect, honest. We blend traditional pranayama and kriya foundations with nervous system education, trauma aware facilitation, and clear pedagogy. The aim is not to become someone else. It is to meet what is here and learn to guide from it. Our approach is rigorous and warm. Live practice, feedback, and mentorship are paired with community and respect for the lineages that shaped these methods. As you train, you will build the capacity to hold space, teach safely and clearly, and pass on the wisdom with integrity. We are here to change the culture of wellness with more inclusion, more reverence, and more skill.
How to Become a Breathwork Coach
Breathwork refers to intentional breathing practices rooted in traditions like pranayama and kriya that influence the nervous system and shape how we feel, focus, and respond. When taught well, breathwork helps people become less reactive, more regulated, and more present.
What is Holistic Breathwork coaching
A Holistic Breathwork coach teaches evidence informed, lineage rooted practices and supports clients in applying them to real life needs such as stress regulation, focus, sleep support, emotional processing, and day to day resilience. Coaches work one to one, in groups, at studios, workplaces, schools, and online.

Steps to become a breathwork coach
Choose a credible training
Look for lineage respect, trauma aware facilitation, anatomy and nervous system education, supervised practice, and a clear scope of practice.
Complete supervised practicum
Practice teaching, receive feedback, and learn cueing, sequencing, and safety adaptations.
Build your starter toolkit
Write simple scripts and a few class plans. Prepare clear intake and waiver forms that match your scope.
Start ethical practice
Offer intro sessions, collect testimonials, and stay within scope. Refer out when needed.
Keep learning
Continue education in breath, the nervous system, and pedagogy. Stay connected to community and mentors.

Bianca Harris is a dynamic and trailblazing force within the wellness and creative industries, recognized for her innovative, deeply authentic approach to holistic well-being.
As the founder and lead facilitator of the Holistic Breath Academy, Bianca personally guides participants through a comprehensive and transformative certification program, empowering them with advanced breathwork techniques rooted in the science of the nervous system and the ancient philosophies of yogic practice.
The program, recognized as a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, is designed to help individuals harness the profound, regenerative power of breath to foster deep healing, resilience, and conscious leadership.
Bianca’s connection to breathwork is not surface-level — it is life-long and lived. She has been practicing breathwork for over 15 years, with formal certification under traditions rooted in the rich Vedantic and Tantric lineages of the Himalayas.
Her training and personal practice honor the depth and spiritual integrity of classical breath sciences while bridging them with modern, trauma-informed approaches, making her one of the few teachers uniquely equipped to teach both the subtle energetic dimensions and the physiological foundations of breath.
Previously, Bianca founded WIPPWellness, Toronto’s premier creative wellness community, earning recognition from Refinery29, Flare, and E! News for her early, innovative focus on mental health, creativity, and holistic well-being. Under her leadership, WIPPWellness became a hub for groundbreaking conversations, featuring collaborators like StyleLikeU, Shannon Boodram, Melodi Ehsani, and Adwoa Aboah.
Now based in Los Angeles, Bianca continues to bridge wellness and creativity as a holistic breath coach for Nike, artist, and creative director. She blends her artistic vision with somatic practices, redefining how people connect to themselves, their emotions, and the world around them. Her work has led to partnerships with some of the world’s leading brands including Nike, Shopify, Google, Samsung, Durex, Adidas, Casper, Saje, Aritzia, and Tatcha.
As a sought-after speaker, teacher, and trainer, Bianca specializes in breathwork, meditation, sound therapy, and nervous system resilience.
